Our transcription service offering includes the following:

  • Dictation:  A recording comprising a single voice that is dictating the contents of a letter or a report is known as dictation. This type of single voice recording contains a structured or a semi-structured speaking style. Examples of dictation transcription are: letters, emails, reports, schedules, books, theses, file notes, memos, etc. Read more

  • Single speaker recordings: Although this recording format is also a single voice, the style of speaking is less structured than in the case of dictation. It therefore takes longer to transcribe this type of audio. Examples of this type of single-voice recordings would be lectures, presentations, training sessions, speeches, etc. Read more

  • Two-person recordings:  Examples of this type of audio would be recordings of one-on-one qualitative research interviews, two person meetings, two person radio and TV interviews, etc. Read more

  • Multi-voice recordings:  Recordings of multi-voice sessions, for example hearings, meetings, information sharing sessions, brain-storming sessions and training sessions, take the longest to transcribe. This is predominantly due to the fact that there are many voices that are required to be identified and attributed. Read more
