"Per audio minute prices"

We use this pricing option for the transcription of all recordings. This will enable our clients to calculate the exact cost of their transcription project in advance or, in some cases, before they've even carried out the recordings. Clients about to bid for research funding have found this option particularly useful. We reserve the right to re-quote should the audio not be as clear as first briefed.

For example, the cost to transcribe a 30 minute long one-on-one interview would be 30 x $1.99 = $59.70

 

 

$1.99 per audio minute for a clear dictation or one-on-one interview.

 

** Includes 2^nd listening, proofreading, and time stamp at each inaudible point in recording.  

 

 

Add $0.40 per audio minute for any of the following:

• Poor enunciation by interviewee/eating

• Microphone too far from interviewee

• Each extra participant

• Constant background noise (e.g. audible air-conditioning/heating, common area)

• Echo (usually caused by no carpet)

• Interview recorded outside (unless interviewee has personal microphone)/over the telephone

 

Add $0.60 per audio minute for deadlines less than 24 hours

 

 

Add $0.85 per audio minute for transcriptions with 30 second time codes

Add $0.45 per audio minute for "Complete Verbatim" transcription.

 

 

 

 

These rates are available until 31 December 2011 and include GST.
